Buyers, learn how to buy a property through assignit.ca

Access the Log In Access the Log In at the top right hand corner Once you have Logged In, click on Search ALS.
Search ALS Fill in search fields to match your desired unit and click Submit.

*Tip: the more information you can provide the more exact your search will be, however if the search returns empty try leaving some fields blank.

Scroll through the results page. If you come up with no results, return to Step 3 and change your search criteria and click Submit again.
From the results page, you can select individual properties to find out more details. When you find your desired unit, you can select, and begin the buying process by informing the Seller of your interest in the unit.
Buying Process

Step1
• When you have chosen your desired unit, fill in the appropriate fields:
Name, Address, Offer Price, etc.

Step2
• Indicate whether you are working with a Realtor.
If you choose Yes, fill in your Realtor's information.
If you choose No, you can specify which Assignment Professional you would
like to represent you OR an Assignment Professional of our choice will be
provided for you.

*Remember, we do recommend that you work with a Realtor who specializes in Assignment Sales, as Assignment Sales are negotiated differently than Resale or New Condominium Sale Purchases.

Step3
• Check that all your information is correct and then hit "Place An Offer." An email is sent to the seller expressing your interest in the property.

Step4
• An Assignment Professional will contact you within 24hrs to begin negotiations with the Seller of the Property. They will take you through the process and type up the Assignment Agreement.

Step5
• An Assignment Agreement is presented to the Seller. The Seller may accept, reject, or negotiate the Assignment Agreement.

Step6
• The Assignment Professional will assist you in getting the consent and closing
the transaction.

Step7
• Get in touch with your financial institution to approve your mortgage financing.

Step8
• Get in touch with your legal representative to look over and execute your agreement.
