know, condominium assignments are a very sophisticated form of real estate trading.
It takes a different set of skills to negotiate an assignment deal. For realtors
who have not taken the time to sufficiently learn the structure of an assignment,
they may find themselves facing legal and financial penalties when a deal is not
executed properly.
At Assignit.ca, we are looking for those exceptional individuals who are willing
to make the extra effort to learn the assignment process and eventually become an
Assignment Professional for our team.
For the fee of $2500, you will be enrolled in our assignment training course. In
this one week session, an experienced Assignment Professional will instruct you
on the process of approaching the developer for consent, preparing the paperwork
and, the legalities and negotiations involved in a typical assignment transaction.
You will then be required to take a test at the end of the course and will be delivered
a certificate for your completion of the course. This certificate is not recognized
by any particular board yet and does not give you points for RECO compliance.
As a Realtor member, you have already been given access to our Assignment Listing
Service for the benefit of your present clientele.
As an Assignment Specialist with us, you will be given a special designation on
our website where other members of Assignit.ca (buyers, sellers, investors, renters)
will be able to view your profile and choose you as a realtor to represent their
interests in an assignment transaction. In addition you will be given leads for
assignors and assignees on designated duty days.
In terms of commissions and fees, for every assignment deal you close through our
website portal, which was referred to you by an Assignment Professional, a standard
25% referral fee would apply.
